Operation Safe Plate

Local police will be in attendance and there will be an opportunity to talk the NHW volunteers about Neighbourhood Watch. The special one way security screws will be available on the day, for a gold coin donation. Victoria Police have reported an increase in the theft of car registration plates as the price of petrol has increased. Stolen plates are used in petrol station drive offs and in a number of other criminal offences. By securing our number plates these crimes can be reduced and car owners will not be inconvenienced by having to replace their number plate, usually only one is stolen.

Stolen or missing number plate/s should be immediately reported to your nearest police station.
