VS Exhibition

From the 1st of June until the 17th of July, the Mount Evelyn Exhibition Space will be featuring art by Steve Leadbeater.

Steve currently works as a graphic designer (northstudio.com.au), and is continuously blurring the lines between commercial and fine art. Steve’s art is edgy and bold and many pieces include typography, one of Steve’s passions.

This exhibition is titled “VS” because of his involvement in both commercial and fine art and the philosophy that one does not contradict the other. Some of the featured work is collaged, while other pieces are illustrations, and in several works, photos are also incorporated.

Steve hosted a successful launch on the 6th of June at the Exhibition Space where 50 or more friends and local art lovers gathered to celebrate and meet the artist. His images are available for purchase and I strongly suggest you check out this unique and appealing exhibition.
