As a service to the community Mt Evelyn Fire Brigade members are available to assist in changing smoke alarm batteries in the homes of those members of the Mt Evelyn community who due to age or disability have difficulty in completing the task themselves. This service is a further extension of the Brigades aim of promoting a firesafe community.
